CHARLOTTE-AYRSLEY, N.C. - Embassy Suites Hotels, the Hilton Worldwide brand of upscale all-suite hotels, will welcome to its portfolio Embassy Suites Charlotte Ayrsley in April 2015. Located within close proximity of two currently opened Hilton Worldwide properties, the focused-service option of Hilton Garden Inn and the extended-stay option of Homewood Suites by Hilton, the addition of the full-service Embassy Suites will provide travelers with 412 Hilton Worldwide guestrooms in this market.

Tyler Birchfield, who will serve as general manager for the new Embassy Suites hotel, currently serves as area general manager for Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Ayrsley and Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte/Ayrsley.  Tyler brings over 23 years of hotel and revenue management experience to Griffin Stafford Hospitality, including managing Hilton brands and other hotel groups.

"With no more than a 20-second walk between the three hotels, we will be able to complement our brand offerings to create a combination of possibilities for our guests," said Birchfield.  "It will prove to be especially convenient in terms of hosting small and medium-sized meetings, conferences, and social events, as this new Embassy Suites will add 12,000 square feet of meeting space.  I look forward to offering our signature Embassy Suites guest service and amenities to leisure and business guests traveling to our area."

When completed, Embassy Suites Charlotte Ayrsley will provide a number of unique programs and services such as complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, evening room service, business and fitness centers and an indoor pool and hot tub.  The 170 suites will be located in a pedestrian-friendly area, within walking distance of seven restaurants and a movie theater.  To reach places like the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, Carowinds Amusement Park and the Premium Outlets, guests will find the hotel conveniently located near routes I-485, I-77 and I-85.

The hotel broke ground in November 2013 and expects to open in April 2015.
